The embedded server can be equipped with either M.2 SSD modules or 2.5'' SSD/HDD in the internal drive bay and can be used as a singular drive for boot and user data or as a combined solution for redundant or extended storage applications. For expansion with additional components including Hilscher Automation Modules in intelligent building management or industrial production, the NISE-107 offers an extension slot in Mini PCI Express.
As an uplink for other embedded computers, IoT gateways or IP devices, the NISE-107 industrial PC can also be used thanks to dual LAN with separate network controllers and a bandwidth of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s per RJ45 Ethernet port with a high reliability and transfer speed become. Optionally, are available the connection to wireless networks via WWAN with built-in SIM card socket or via WLAN as a client or wireless access point. Other native interfaces guarantee sufficient connectivity to sensors, motors or external hardware.
